Welcome to Grandravine Special Hockey!
Grandravine Special Hockey is a hockey program for the developmentally challenged for all ages, male or female, regardless of skill level. It is the oldest special hockey program in North America, founded in 1980.
- The program runs 26 weeks
- The Skills Development Program is for all beginners and teaches basic skating and hockey skills.
- Games with nearby regional teams.
- Participation in the Annual Special Hockey International tournament.

With the passage of the Special Hockey Day Act, a private members bill put forth by Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith, the Ontario Government has proclaimed March 27 as Special Hockey Day in in the province Ontario. Whether on the ice or off the ice, Grandravine players like to have a good time. And this was more than evident for our annual bowling party with over 100 in attendance at the Rexdale Bowlerama.
