Michael Cohen – Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
In previous years I have participated in the Scotiabank Marathon to raise money for Walk Now for Autism. This year I am asking for your consideration to support a different organization… the Grandravine Tornadoes, a member club of Special Hockey International, and a wonderful organization that supports people with Autism, Down Syndrome and other Developmental and Global Delays and challenges. As a family we have been involved over the last two years (entering our 3rd), and have fully enjoyed our time (my son as a hockey player, and me as a coach/volunteer). It is so wonderful to participate in something like this – and I feel so fortunate that we are a part of it.
On October 19, I plan on running the Scotia Half Marathon and will fund-raise on behalf of the organization, which relies heavily on charitable support in order to operate. I have truly appreciated the support of my family and friends. No words can express my thanks to you all. If you would like to consider sponsoring us, I would be greatly appreciative.
Donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt (Canadian charity Reg. # 85830 5501 RR0001).
If you can support us, there are two options:
Again, thank you so much for your consideration – it means a great deal to me!
