Industry Charity Golf Classic
For the past 11 years, Drew Pritchard of Westlands Benefits has been the driving force behind the Industry Charity Golf Classic at Cedar Brae Golf Club. The tournament brings together golfers from the financial investment community for a great day on the links—and an even greater cause. Over the years, proceeds have supported deserving organizations such as Autism Ontario. Hockey was another of Drew’s passions, and he played competitively before going on to coach the North York Rangers. Grandravine mom Cindi Buick, a longtime friend of Drew’s, has supported and volunteered at the tournament. In 2026, these connections came together perfectly when the Industry Charity Golf Classic selected Grandravine Special Hockey as the recipient of its proceeds for 2026.
On September 17, the 11th annual Industry Charity Golf Classic took place at Cedar Brae Golf Club. Some 70 golfers teed off beneath sunny skies—ideal weather for chasing birdies and supporting a wonderful cause. Representing Grandravine were Joe Rizzuto, Michael Liotta, Morris Magni and Val Vescio. At the luncheon, Joe shared the story of Grandravine Special Hockey and thanked the golfers for their generosity and enthusiastic support.
On behalf of all Grandravine players, parents and coaches, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Industry Charity Golf Classic for its generous support. We would also like to recognize Master of Ceremonies Drew Pritchard, Event Co-Chairs Amber Gyde and Jordan Bagg, the tournament committee, and every volunteer whose hard work and dedication made the day such a success. It was truly a winning effort—on and off the course.
