Grandravine Dinner Dance Fundraiser
What a blast! It was our best Dinner Dance ever. Tickets were sold out weeks ago for what was the biggest crowd we have ever had. A great big heart felt hug has to go out to Lisa and Silvia who continue to outdo themselves every year putting this party together. This evening is one of the major fundraising events at Grandravine and goes a long way to making our program so successful.
As usual it was more than just a fundraiser, it was a FUN raiser. Leading off with a fabulous dinner from the friendly staff of Julius Banquet Centre, who made sure we were all properly wined and dined. Then Bill and Stephanie from Innerphase took over with a beat that kept everyone hopping till early in the morning. In addition to all the guests many of of our players were also in attendance. Try keeping them off the dance floor.
The highlight of the evening of course was the prize drawings. With dozens of prizes available there were plenty of winners including an autographed VanReimsdyk jersey and 50inTV set. A special thank you has to go out to Mary Mauti for arranging so many of these. And of course we want to recognize all the generous companies and individuals who donated all the wonderful prizes.
