The weather was a little cooler than usual. No evening banquet. The sun set as the prizes were being handing out. Delayed by one year and 2 months due to Covid, and with attendance capped and restrictions in place, the 16th edition of the Grandravine Charity Classic finally took place to the delight of all who attended.
With events like this shut down in the last eighteen months, everyone was thrilled to be able to, once again, enjoy a day on the links, meet up with friends and along the way raise some
money for a very worthwhile cause. To this end we want to acknowledge our key sponsor and tournament partner, Coro Electric and especially Mike Corvinelli and Alessandra Corvinelli for the incredible support and hard work. As well thanks also go out to all the other generous sponsors who support Grandravine Special Hockey. After having been grounded for over a year, the players are eager to hit the ice in a few weeks. It is through the support of all the sponsors that this is possible.
With the cooler weather of September golfers were treated to hot espresso and cannoli as they arrived. The delicious wood fired pizza, was available all day long. Along with porchetta stations on course and burgers on the nineteenth hole no one went home hungry, despite not being able to hold the traditional awards banquet.
This year featured not one, but two separate Hole-In-One contests, each with it’s own separate $10,000 prize. Unfortunately no one was able to cash in. However, as the sun set on the patio at Glen Eagle, prizes were awarded for all the other contest winners.
Best Over-All Score

Ladies Closest To The Pin

A very special shout-out has to go to all the volunteers that helped make this so enjoyable for everyone. Their hard work is greatly appreciated.
