Grandravine Charity Classic — Where Golf Meets Gourmet!
The 2025 Grandravine Charity Classic teed up a winning combo of good food, great company, and unforgettable fun. From sizzling porchetta to creamy gelato and dart-flinging golf games, it was a hole-in-one kind of day. ⛳
🎉 A celebration of milestones: This year marked two incredible anniversaries. First, the Grandravine Charity Classic celebrated its 20th year — a tradition launched in 2005 by Carmelina Corvinelli, Matthew Ciccotelli, and Stefania Morgillo during their time volunteering with Grandravine Special Hockey.
⚡ And second, a huge congratulations to Coro Electric on their 40th anniversary! Mike and Carmelina Corvinelli built the company from humble beginnings — working out of their garage like some of the greats (Apple, anyone?). Over time, their dedication was joined by other passionate teammates, including their daughter Alessandra. Four decades later, their commitment and heart have made Coro the incredible success it is today.
Here’s how it all went down:
🍽️ Pre-tournament bites: Golfers arrived to the aroma of porchetta on a bun — hot peppers optional, but highly recommended! Volunteers dished it up with heart, while I Love Gelato kept everyone caffeinated and cool with espresso, gelato, and the coveted Afocado.
🎯 Game meets gimmick: Before the official start, the Golf Dart Game stole the spotlight. Tennis balls, giant Velcro dartboards, and comically oversized clubs made for laughs and friendly competition.
🏌️ Let the golf begin: At 1 PM, 200 players hit the fairways under a glorious sun. While the $10,000 hole-in-one proved elusive, we celebrated winners in the longest drive and closest-to-pin contests.
🍕 Pizza-powered swings: Just as the tournament got underway, Eatzza My Pizza served wood-fired slices to keep everyone energized until dinner.
🏆 Evening festivities: After the last putt, everyone gathered at the Cardinal Clubhouse for a buffet feast, raffle draws, and prize presentations hosted by Michael Liotta and Grandravine President Joe Rizzuto.
